Good amplifier for a great price
For the price you get a real performer. High wattage at a good price. I have them coupled to a pair of Bowers & Wilkins CM6S2 and they sound quite good.
I previously had a NAD M22 coupled to them, and while the XLS 1502 does not sound as good as the M22, at the price point of the XLS 1502 I think it is hard to beat!
The only downside I see to it is that it does not have an auto on/of. You have to turn it on and off manually.

Great transparent power amp
I use this power amp for my HI-FI ultra clean electric bass rig. I use high end basses and wanted a power amplifier to replace my QSC PLX2402 amp that would still give me a pristine clean sound with non of the edgy sounds that I have heard in "classic" bass rigs. This power amp delivers superbly.
Pros: lightweight, clear, sound with superb handling of transients in the sound.
Cons: The only think I can say here is that to my ears I don't think it delivers the same density of sound as my previous QSC PLX 2402 power amp.
But the lightweight nature of the Crown makes it a more convenient beast to use regularly.
