Ausgewogener, gut kontrollierbarer, warmer Klang

Das ist bereits der vierte Bogen, den ich bei Thomann bestellt habe – nach einem Massaranduba-Bogen, einem Carbonbogen und einem Pernambucobogen (ca. 300 €). Ich möchte mich herzlich bei Thomann dafür bedanken, dass ich die Möglichkeit hatte, die Bögen auszuprobieren und diejenigen zurückzugeben, die für mich nicht geeignet waren.

Von allen vieren war dieser Bogen für mich der überzeugendste – insbesondere in Bezug auf die Balance. Mit einem Gewicht von ca. 61 g liegt er für mich perfekt in der Hand: nicht zu leicht wie typische Carbonbögen (58–59 g) und nicht zu schwer wie die Massaranduba-Bögen (63–67 g, von denen ich mehrere ausprobiert habe) oder der Pernambucobogen (63 g), den ich zuvor getestet habe.

Spieltechnisch reagiert der Bogen sehr angenehm: Er eignet sich hervorragend für Legato- und Detaché-Striche und erlaubt zugleich eine präzise Kontrolle bei Spiccato, Staccato und Sautillé. Besonders positiv überrascht war ich vom Klang – deutlich wärmer als bei vielen anderen Carbonbögen. Das liegt vermutlich an der Holzbeschichtung, die diesem Modell seine besondere klangliche Qualität verleiht.

Natürlich spielt auch das Kolophonium eine Rolle – deshalb empfehle ich, zu diesem Bogen ein hochwertiges Kolophonium zu verwenden, um das volle Potenzial auszuschöpfen.

Fazit:
Mein Budget lag bei maximal 300 €, daher habe ich ausschließlich Bögen in dieser Preisklasse getestet. Von allen, die ich ausprobiert habe, war dieser Bogen eindeutig der überzeugendste – sowohl klanglich als auch spieltechnisch. Wer keinen hochwertigen Pernambucobogen im Bereich von 500–1000 € erwerben kann oder möchte, findet hier eine hervorragende Alternative mit einem ausgezeichneten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
