Ich habe auch das Groove Book von Jost in meiner Drum Bibliothek. Ich liebe seinen Blick auf die kleinsten Details die den größten Unterschied ausmachen können.
Ich als Drummer, mit 13 Jahren Erfahrung, bin immer sehr dankbar wenn ich ein neues Konzept/Weg lerne um z.B. neue Fills zu entdecken oder Grooves spannender zu machen.
In diesem Buch wird jeder Aspekt behandelt.
Binäre, Ternäre Fills. Bewegungsabläufe etc.
Dieses Buch ist definitiv für Fortgeschrittene weil es mit Sechzehntel startet und den Schwierigkeitsgrad stetig erhöht.
Die mp3s und die Videos sind durchaus eine tolle Hilfe.

Sehr umfangreiche Sammlung an spannenden Ideen und Konzepten, vielseitigere Fills zu kreieren. Die CD gibt einem ne gute Vorstellung, wie die Fills im Ergebnis dann klingen sollten, es sind aber -- kleiner Abzug -- nicht alle transkribierten Beispiele auch auf CD zu finden.
Ergänzt wird das ganze dafür aber noch durch ein Online-Angebot an Videos.

Die Kapitel sind gut erklärt und man kriegt schnell ein Verständnis von dem, was jeweils die Idee des Kapitels ist.
Der Preis ist für den Umfang und die Aufmachung des Inhalts meines Erachtens mehr als gerechtfertigt.

Habe mir das Buch zusammen mit dem ebenfalls sehr hilfreichen Groove-Book von Jost gekauft und beides nicht bereut!

Kurzum: Ein prima Buch, um sich mit einem zentralen, aber oft vernachlässigten Themenkomplex systematisch anzunähern.
