Ich spiele das Blatt auf einem Mundstück Otto Link, Tone Edge 7 mit einem System 54 Baritonsax Superior VG. 5 Blätter werden in einer ansprechenden Blechschachtel geliefert, angeordnet auf zwei Kartonhaltern zu zwei und drei Blättern, so dass hier auf Plastik verzichtet werden kann. Erstaunt hat mich, dass Marken- und Härtebezeichnungen auf den Blättern nicht mehr eingeprägt sind, sondern abwischbar aufgedruckt. Die Oberfläche erscheint mitunter deutlich rau, was einen spürbaren Einfluss auf die Ansprache hat. Vermutlich kennt hier jeder seine eigenen Methoden der Angleichung, falls dies stören sollte. Für mich jedenfalls ein Grund die Bewertung in den Punkten Ansprache und Verarbeitung etwas herunter zu setzen. Ermöglicht wird ein gleichfalls druckvolles wie auch sanftes Spiel. Der Ton ist klar, kernig und markant mit gutem Volumen sowie vielfältig formbar, was einen Einsatz mit kräftiger akzentuierender Spielweise gut möglich macht.
