Da ich zu meinen Studenten-Zeiten nicht die Bereitschaft hatte, eine Kiste teurer Holz-Barisaxblätter durchzuprobieren und Ausschuss in hohem Wert zu produzieren war der Umstieg auf Synthetik-Blätter für mich relativ leicht vollzogen.

Auf dem Bari war ich bisher mit den Fiberreeds okay gefahren, allerdings war bei diesen die Verarbeitung nicht immer top und der Sound nicht immer konsistent (aber immer noch besser als sich mit Holz rumzuärgern).
Mit Legere habe ich auf dem Altsax gute Erfahrungen gemacht und mir daher auch mal eines fürs Bari kommen lassen. Der erste Eindruck zur Verarbeitung ist solide, keine Unregelmäßigkeiten. Der Sound ist super, die Röhre knattert in den tiefen Lagen und singt ganz passabel in den hohen Lagen.

Was ich derzeit noch nicht bewerten kann ist das Verhalten bei Alterung und Ermüdung, ich hoffe hier nach ein paar Monaten und Tests weiterer Konkurrenten noch etwas mehr Einsichten zu gewinnen.

Bis dahin: bestes Synthetik-Reed fürs Bari, das ich bisher an meinen Lippen hatte. Gerade für Hobbymusikanten für mich, die keinen Bock auf Holzpflege haben ein Gewinn!
