According to my taste the cymbal is o.k. It is not a loud one. If you play it with the tip of the stick or hit it as a crash, it produces a small amount of sound. 20'' Rock Beat Medium Ride is louder than this brother cymbal. But the quality is good though, it's thickness can stand a hard controlled beating with no problem. If the bell was a bit more to my taste, I would rate it better.
