I bought this to replace my old and sticky, but otherwise good-sounding H6 recorder.
The first thing that became clear is that the built-in microphones are not designed for quieter outdoor recordings. Additionally, it picks up significantly more noise when handled. The functionality, 32-bit recording, is great and the setup is very easy. Still, I like the format of the device and with external microphones, the sound is good - the preamps are decent.
You just have to carefully consider the situations for its use. The existing microphones are probably intended for higher volume cases. Otherwise, great value.
