Perfect mixer for small and starter bands
Anonymous 12.03.2016
I've been mainly using the desk for my new trio - guitar, bass, cajon + vocal. The desk really does its work. I recommend this desk for smaller bands or different instrumental or vocal groups (rehearsal and also gigs). The mixing desk is really easy to get used to. Its features are limited but for the price you pay you really get a good mixer. I warmly recommend it for anyone who is starting a new band and its limited on his budget.

After many years, still at the heart of my studio
Equis Brea 14.04.2026
I bought it because of Yamaha’s quality ethos, and it has fulfilled its duties more than well. I have been moving it with me across Europe wrapped in blankets inside tote bags. It’s as sturdy as they come.

At some point a few years ago there was a callback for the power supply. But I had already fixed mine with black tape, and it keeps going.

Very flexible, nice mic/line inputs. The compression effect is simple but effective.

Worth buying.

A cool setup that I recently discovered is using the mix to my Spectravox, and then sending one or two synths or drum machines through the aux send. It’s like gravy.

It would be nice to have a little more routing options for the price and size, but all things considered, stills grest choice.

Good and clear sound
Anonymous 19.12.2016
I'm using this mixer to mix all the drum microphones together and the sound is clear and nice, no noticeable background noises presents. The knobs feels nice and smooth, metal body a little bit rattles, but not a big deal. Overall good and quality mixer!
