Yamaha KU100 Silent Kick Pedal

It does what you want it to do. However, the feeling is not the best (it is my first electronic kick pedal, so I also do not have another reference).

I use it with my Yamaha DTX Multi 12 and it works perfectly.
Pros:
- Silent
- Lightweight
Cons:
- "Feeling"
- Doesn't have a carpet adherent surface, which can be helpful so it doesn't fly around

For the price, you can't ask for more.
The only real problem I have with it is that the spring seems to lose strength very fast. But its nothing that can't be fixed easily by getting a new spring. There are some youtube tutorials on that.

All and all, its perfect for practice, but I wouldn't necessarily rely on it for live shows. I've used it with a Roland SPDX and it works great!

its been couple of weeks of heave use of silent kick pedal and my impressionas are follwoing:
+ it is silent
+ with some practise it allows to play at different dynamic levels
+ it's compact and easy to carry

- response far from real, too soft I would say

but taking into account price I find it great deal

Delivery perfect from Thomann as always.

This is a solid, well constructed bit of kit. It's quiet enough for home practice. The only downside is that you don't get the feedback of a proper kick pedal and it's a bit slow to go back to the original position, so you won't be hitting those rapid fire kick patterns. But overall very pleased, works great with my nord drum.
