Beautiful tone out of such a small and cheap guitar. Purchased for my young son to learn on and he is loving it.

What matters, neck feel and set up are spot on.

Loses on star on quality as there was some glue residue on fretboard, a couple of finish flaws and was generally a bit dusty, but for a £100 instrument...I'll let those pass. Superb guitar at the price point.

Excellent guitar for beginner

After much research I bought this guitar for my daughter who is taking guitar lessons. It is her second guitar, having previously used a cheaper model which, while it served its purpose for a while, did not live up to expectations.

The CS40 II is of excellent quality and it plays very nicely. I believe it holds it's tuning fairly well, though my ear is not good enough to tell for sure.

I don't know what additional features one might expect from an acoustic guitar but it does not lack anything and at an entry level price it is very much a great value.
