Handy!
If you have / need a pair of mallets in your stick bag, why wouldn't you have a pair that you can flip over to use on the drums?!
As mallets they're pretty soft, but they're perfectly adequate for producing a nice cymbal swell.
As sticks they're a bit light for my taste; they feel like a 7A to me. But you wouldn't want to use them as sticks full time - the felt gets in the way a bit and the shaft feels like a softwood, so they probably wouldn't last too long as full-time sticks.
In my perfect world, these would have hickory shafts and slightly firmer felts; in this world, I'll take the flexibility.

These are quite nice and easy to use especially in the beginning of the song and when you have hit the cymbals you can easily start playing the drums. Nothing to complain about. :)
