Ich Habe mich lange Zeit wenig bis gar nicht darum geschert, welche Sticks ich mitunter zerstöre oder spiele. Ich bin eher zufällig auf Wincent Sticks gestoßen und spiele seitdem tatsächlich keine anderen mehr. Für mich überzeugende Griffigkeit, leicht "wachsige" Oberfläche, kommt meinem Spiel sehr entgegen. Ich spiele mit den Dingern spürbar exakter als mit anderen Sticks, die ich in meinem Leben durchgehauen habe. Was das betrifft, diese Sticks haben bei mir eine bemerkenswert längere Lebensdauer als z.B. Vic Firth-"Standart"-Sticks.

Die schwarze Einfärbung ändert dem ganzen für mein Empfinden keineswegs etwas, für mich, auch im Blindtest, kein Unterschied zu den "normalen" Wincent 5A Hickory Woodtip Sticks. Sieht halt für den einen oder anderen irgendwie cooler aus. Ist halt Geschmackssache.

Von mir, für dynamische Prügler, absolute Empfehlung.
