Perfect Fit for my "rescue bass"

I acquired a dilapidated acoustic bass that was about to be thrown out. There were no strings on it, no bridge pins and all the machine heads merely turned loosely without turning the actual tuning poles.

Not risking investing much on an instrument that may not work I bought the cheapest tuners, strings and bridge pins available on Thomann.

Luckily, the instrument did work splendidly after some work and the bridge pins, despite initially appearing to be in flimsy plastic, actually did the job they were designed for perfectly. It's been a couple of months now since I revived the instrument and I can't complain about any of the three items I purchased to revive it.

Habe bei meinem Akustikbass, nachdem ich sogar 2 Pins verloren hatte und aus Holz welche selber geschnitzt habe, alle 4 Bridgepins mit diesen erneuert. Jetzt sieht es wieder toll aus und: die funktionieren einwandfrei, besser als die alten! Obwohl die Pins sich sehr leicht einstecken lassen und etwas locker sitzen, halten sie, nachdem man Spannung auf die Saite,gibt fest, ohne einmal rauszuspringen. Die Nut ist gross genug um alle verschiedene Typen von Basssaiten zu verwenden. Der Preis ist absolut fair und es waren die einzigen bezahlbaren die ich hier gefunden habe.
