Ich wechsle viel und regelmäßig zwischen Trompete und Flügelhorn hin und her. Für die Trompete spiele ich ein Schilke 14C2. Ich habe mich per mail an die Thomann Brass Abteilung gewandt weil ich ein "vergleichbares" Mundstück für Flügelhorn wollte. Antwort mit 2 Vorschlägen kam innerhalb einer Stunde. Beide zum testen bestellt, für das Warburton entschieden. Das andere Retouniert, super Sache! Das 3FLM hat für ein Flügelhornmundstück einen vergleichsweise flachen Kessel, was das Spielen im höheren Bereich erleichtert. Die Einbußen im Sound insgesamt sind absolut akzeptabel. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Ich habe auch das mit dem tiefen Kessel ausprobiert. Das kling erstmal größer. Man muss dann aber auch groß spielen können. Was hilft es, wenn das Pferd auf dem halben Weg verreckt.
So habe ich mich hierfür entschieden. Meinen physischen Fähigkeiten entspricht es mehr.
Am Ende klingt es dann doch größer.
