Very light, excellent mute. Blows more freely than the Brenner ssshmute (which is also a fine practice mute, but I prefer the Voigt). You don't even notice the mute is in, so it keeps the trombone in balance. Only the low notes are a little out of tune (from the lowest Bb down). The Studio mute of Wallace does a better job with that, but is too heavy for long practice sessions.

Der Dämpfer hat einen sehr geringen Widerstand, und fühlt sich ziemlich original an. etwa 90 Prozent des Spielgefühls ohne Dämpfer.
Die Posaune die ich damit spiele ist eine etwas modifizierte Edwards T302 Jazzposaune. Im direkten Vergleich mit dem Wallace und dem Okura Übungsdämpfer ist der Voigt der klare Sieger. Zum Bestbrass gibt es kaum einen Unterschied, lediglich die tiefen Töne springen deutlich besser beim Voigt an. Kurzum der Beste Übungsdämpfer den ich je hatte.
Einziger Nachteil ist, dass er etwas größer als die oben genannten Dämpfer ist. Und somit nicht problemlos im Trichter mitgeführt werden kann. Einige Cases lassen es jedoch trotzdem zu.
