Wenn man sich nicht mit einer in den Trichter gestopften Sofa-Decke oder einem Handtuch zum nachbarnfreundlichen Üben unter erschwerten Bedingungen und beeinträchtigter Intonation begnügen will, wird vom Übungsdämpfer der Markneukirchener Firma "Voigt Brass" positiv überrascht sein. Trotz seiner Größe ist der Übungsdämpfer erstaunlich leicht. Durch die dicke Polsterung wird der Trichter nicht beschädigt und der Dämpfer sitzt gleichzeitig dicht. So kann man angenehm üben, ohne Nachbarn und/oder Mitbewohner zu stören. Das Spielgefühl und die Intonation werden durch den Übungsdämpfer höchstens minimal beeinflusst.
