Schnellster Stick

Wunderbarer, extrem schneller und phantastisch ausbalancierter Stick:

Mit seiner Dicke von 14,9 liegt er etwas unterhalb des typischen 5B, ist dafür etwas gezogen (409 statt klassischen 406) und weist einen längeren Taper aus.

Das Ergebnis dieser Kombination ist ein extrem schneller Stick bei gleichzeitig hervorragender Balance und Kontrolle. Dieser Stick liegt satt in der Hand, ist gleichzeitig gut zu führen und hat einen ausgeglichenen und kontrollierten, aber zugleich "rattenschnellen" Rebound. Singles und Doubles gehen gleichermaßen leicht von der Hand.

Ich spiele ansonsten Vic Firth 3A, Omar Hakim Sig.'s oder Regal Tip 5A, die alle etwas mehr Druck und Power entwickeln, der schnellste aber ist dieser TonyRoyster2. Wer es noch schneller mag, kann vielleicht den Matt Garstka Sig. testen, der ist aber deutlich leichter und unkontrollierter und entwickelt weniger Druck.

Der TonyRoyster II aber ist für denjenigen, der Sticks mit diesen Maßen mag, schon fast die "eierlegende Wollmilchsau".

Gut und teuer

Im Vergleich zu normalen 5B ist der stärkere Rebound tatsächlich wahrnehmbar, schnelle Singles im Punkrockbereich fallen mir mit diesem Stock wirklich leichter. Bzgl. Verarbeitung keine Auffälligkeiten, weder positiv noch negativ. Bei mir springt bei allen Stöcken halt früher oder später der Woodtip, so auch hier. In Relation zum Preis daher nur 3 Sterne bei der Verarbeitung. Denn: Wie alle Premiumsticks finde ich auch diesen hier unverschämt teuer. Damit meine ich nicht nur die Signature-Serien sondern auch die Standards 5B etc. Ist schon fast unanständig, was sich Vic Firth & Co. bzw. deren Vertriebe leisten. Daher nutze ich solcherlei Luxus nur live, also wenns echt drauf ankommt.
