Tip shatters after a few practice sessions.

The tip of these sticks started coming apart after just 3x2 hour practice sessions. Granted I am a somewhat hard hitter (not extremely so) but still, for being so pricey it is disappointing. I heard that Vic Firth has QC issues, now I see that it is true.
