Perfect acoustic stick
Vater's maple stick is a perfect match for lighter playing without compromising articulation or feel. The barrel tip gives good definition and controls overtones well, while the profile of the stick still provides enough density for rimshots. Would definitely buy again, and will be interested to try more Vater maple sticks in a heavier weight for studio/live settings.

Got these for my regular gigs as I was looking for something different. I think I have found the right pair for me, not only does it feel super comfortable it helps me achieve the kind of tone and feel I look for in a pair of sticks. They can surely take a beating but ay not hold up for long with more extreme styles like metal.

Very good
Light as air, very good to play fast notes, easy to controll. Used for couple concerts. I like to play a lot rimshots very hard. I though those will brake very soon, but they are still going. Though I will try smoething new for fun, you know 8A type is not regular. I think I found one more pair of sticks that are ones of my favourite. I will deffenetly buy some more of them.

Tip top stick definition and fast as a MIG!
These are clearly jazz sticks: Barrel tips give excellent stick definition on a ride and they are fast.... REALLY fast. Also, because they are maple, they are a little thicker than hickory 7A Peter Erskine signatures, yet much lighter. Love them, and they are cheaper!
