These sticks felt so easy to play with from the moment I first tried them out on the drumset. I am not a particularly heavy hitter, but I like to dig into the drums and I usually play with heavy sticks which is often exhausting. With these ones though I felt great. Their lacquer is just enough to not give you the feeling of holding something rigid (they are big sticks after all), but at the same time, it's not too much and it doesn't cause them to slip and fly away when your hands get a bit moist. They are well-balanced with a slight feel to be a tiny bit heavier towards the tip.
They are also quite durable - I usually have my sticks chipping away around the bow, due to the way I aproach the hats and going for rimshots frequently, but these ones hold up pretty well. I bought two pairs for a test drive and I think I'm about to stick with them, no pun intended ;)
If you like to play/practice with heavy sticks, but you don't want to feel like you're holding tree stems, I think you should try these out!

Too heavy for my taste
Great drumsticks for metal. They are just to beefy for me.

A good stick.
I used it, didn't get the longevity i would get from my regular Pro mark sticks but they were good. Nice feel and stronger then Vic Firth. Try them
