Habitué à jouer exclusivement avec des Vater Power 5B, je cherchais quelque chose de différent tout en restant dans la même gamme de diamètre/longueur. Ces 55BB répondent parfaitement à la demande! Très bien équilibrées, relativement légère sans l'être trop. Elles permettent un jeu facile, très polyvalentes, elles font le boulot dans tous les styles. Le col et l'olive permettent un jeu fluide, rapide, et précis. Leur diamètre et leur longueur les rend tout aussi aptes à un jeu puissant.

Vater hat in seiner Stickproduktion große Fortschritte gemacht. Während vor einigen Jahren noch viele Stickpaare eher mäßig aufeinander abgestimmt und teilweise gebogen waren, sind die Sticks (aus meiner Sicht) nun kerzengerade und gut aufeinander gemachted.

Die 55bb sind super Allrounder. Durch die Dicke sowohl für Rock und Funk, durch den feinen Tipp aber auch für Jazz, Blues etc. geeignet. Für mich, der eher frontlastige Sticks mag, ist er durch seinen eher kurzen Taper eine super Kombination aus Finess und Power.

Probiert ihn aus, ihr werdet nicht enttäuscht sein ;).

Top Stick für starken Punsch und eine absolute Alternative zum Vic Firth Extreme 5B

Ich habe den Stick als Übergangslösung zum VIC VITH Extreme 5B bestellt, der zur Zeit noch nicht lieferbar ist. Auf den Stick hat mich Bertram Engel gebracht, er spielt den auch. Ich hatte sofort Spaß damit auch wenn er noch etwas schwerer ist als der 5B, aber das Spielgefühl war sofort da und auch die Qualität ist Top.
Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung für alle 5B Drummer, nicht nur als Alternative.
