Vater 3AW Power Hickory drumsticks

Good wood quality and overall good sticks, but they were a little too big for my tastes (I usually play a VF 5BN). Still a good pair of sticks, just not my taste

Eigentlich super, aber...

Mal zum Probieren bestellt und ja, was soll ich sagen: mächtiger Stick, 5B Durchmesser mit deutlich mehr Länge und Kopflastigkeit, dazu die typisch runde Vater-Power-Spitze - macht Laune am Set und ist richtig laut. Also im Prinzip ein super Modell für Punk/Metal/Rock, wenn 5B zu wenig und 2B zu viel ist.

Wenn doch die zwei Sticks nur ansatzweise als Paar durchgehen würden! Relativ deutlicher Gewichtsunterschied, unterschiedlich geformte Tips und noch dazu ist einer ordentlich krumm, was den Spielspaß ziemlich trübt. Vater hat für meinen Geschmack echt gute Modelle im Programm, ich mag auch das Gefühl der Sticks. Aber leider habe ich bei kaum einen anderen der großen Hersteller solche Schwankungen in der Qualität, im Gewicht und in der Abstimmung der Paare, was auch andere User hier schon bemängelt haben. Daher ordentlich Abzug.
