Kräftiger, heller Sound durch die enge Kammer, spricht aufgrund der hervorragenden Verarbeitung trotz der großen Öffnung sehr leicht an! Ein dunkler Sound lässt sich aufgrund der Kammergröße nicht produzieren, auch mit Subtone bleibt der Klang recht hell. Passt daher vor allem zu moderneren, fokussiert klingenden Alt-Saxophonen mit schmaler Bohrung (z. B. Selmer und Yamaha). Für breiter klingende Altos mit größerer Bohrung (alte Conns und einige der neueren Rampone&Cazzanis) wahrscheinlich nicht die beste Wahl, aber auch da funktionert die klangliche Aufhellung dem Mundstückdesign entsprechend.
