well made but too big

This is a very well made ligature, hence the 5 stars for quality, but I could only give it 3 stars overall because on my very standard mouthpiece, this ligature is just a tiny bit too big.

If I try to adjust the mouthpiece on the crook, more often than not the ligature slips while the mouthpiece stays in place.

Maybe the best fit is if you stick to Vandoren everything - mouthpiece, ligature and reed.

Great ligature. I do not adhere to the theories of making my ligature choice over complicated and crazily expensive. I wouldn’t be happy paying more than I did for this one. Holds the red firmly, is easily adjustable with the single screw. Very well made and finished. For what it’s perhaps worth, there is minimal, but secure contact with the actual reed. Would let choose any other ligature.

This M/O ligature is excellent, so well made, easy to fix and holds the reed in place while allowing the reed to vibrate correctly.

I am so pleased with this lig, it is smart, neat, well made, not cumbersome,easy to use it is simply great, so pleased that I bought it.

Good product but too small

I like it very much on alto but on tenor it is just too small for many popular mouthpieces - Otto Link Tone Edge, also Selmer S90 and Ricco Graftonite. It fits but so tight it will definately scratch mouthpiece. Very strange but that's a fact.
