I have a recording studio and I bought it to check it out. Last week I was recording drums for a metal group and we changed some mics to decide which is the best for the snare and we all like this one more even without using the plugin. The week before I made a live recording in my studio and I choose this mic for the snare and I was amazed with the result. I will definitely buy some more.

This ticks so many boxes! I have now used it in a studio setting and mixed using the hemisphere options. I completely understand the hype and think it is well deserved. Elevates a standard dynamic microphone to stratospheric levels. Neat and sturdy design. Surely every serious producer/artist needs at least one SD-3! ... and one SD-5.. and one SD-7.. you get the idea...

Ahora Sí!!!! Compré este pequeño micrófono de Universal Audio con la duda más que nada de como se comportaria el plugin de modelado que entrega UA. En este caso es sobre todo micrófono para ampli de guitarra. Conecté el micro como uno más y grabé el ampli sin el plugin. Después abrí el modelador.... impresionante!!! Cada micro es fiel al modelo que emula y además con limpieza y detalle. Nada digital. Bien orgánico y conseguido. Muy muy contento. Por fin algo digital no suena a fritura tiesa. Lo recomiendo de verdad

Sugli ottoni, neutro come speravo fosse, non sensibilissimo ed anche questo è un bene in questo contesto. Sensibile allo spostamento in asse e poco dipendente dall'effetto prossimità. Imballo, bustina imbottita stupendi. Il microfono e la clip sono davvero pesanti in relazione alle dimensioni. Materiali, assemblaggio, verniciatura del microfono, sono encomiabili, Chiude lo strepitoso logo a rilievo della Universal Audio. Iper consigliato, a 111 euro è un vero miracolo. Chiudo con una nota civettuola: bellissimo anche da vedere e maneggiare.
