Very cool drum! With its size, it has enough light weight, good strong material for the body. Due to the natural skin turns chic sound. The tone this djembe produces is pretty defined with a respectable range. Deep "thump" in the bass, slappy "snare" pop and great dynamics.

Weight is pretty low, compared to wooden instruments. My lady went from an African wooden djembe to this one and loves the mobility aspect of it. It is easier to play for longer as well.

All in all a great purchase.
