perfect light little case for on the go
I bought this a couple of years ago to house my Steinberug UR824. It's perfect for it.
My UR824 soundcard sits mostly in the studio. I have a smaller one for on location work. But sometimes, mostly for multichannel work, I need to have my UR824 with me. The UR824 fits narrowly into this case, but just to be sure I put some aluminum plates between the handles of the soundcard and the railing with the screws, to gain a few mm, and then the soundcard fits perfectly. What I really like about this case is that it is very light. I mostly go by foot or public transport to my jobs, and then this easy to carry, while still providing enough protection to the soundcard. Once I'm on location, I'm also very quickly setup, which is always appreaciated. It might not be sturdy enough for daily life on the road, but for occasional travel, it's perfect. Over the years I took it out quite a bit and it took a few bumps along the road but it's still in perfect condition and it has saved the soundcard from some mishaps. On location it usually also doubles as a laptop stand.

Light weight and seams solid.
Only issues is has almost doble the price to buy one year later..

I bought this as a compact solution to tidy up a pair of radio mics, and it does the job nicely. The plastic material used makes the case very light, however it's also very thin so will probably crack easily if it takes a hit. As long as you're careful this won't be a problem though. The case is well put together and the lids fit nicely. Looks good too.

Bon produit mais dommage...
C'est un super produit que j'avais acheté il y a quelques années. Malheureusement, la qualité de fabrication a baissée aujourd'hui sur les nouveaux modèles (l'autre est tjrs nickel, mais j'avais besoin d'une deuxième). Les attaches métalliques sont bcp plus molles (acier pliable avec un doigt... (En forçant un peu certes, mais impossible sur les anciens modèles). Les capots ne sont pas aussi bien serrés et maintenu qu'avant, il y a un petit jeu... Pas rassurant sur la longueur. Sinon, c'est un produit qui reste relativement robuste au vue de son poids et très pratique.

Light mobile short depth rack perfect for my needs
This rack is a low cost but stable and sturdy lightweight half depth rack.
It served my needs of fitting a 1U audio interface and breakout cables for touring.

Perfect fit for S16
The rack case fits the S16 stage box perfectly, and is of reasonable construction. The aluminium frame is of good quality which makes up for the plastic side pieces. The handle seems secure and the large rubber feet on the bottom stops the box sliding on smooth floors while wires are being plugged in and unplugged.

Good Case for light use
This case is great to protect your gear in safer environments such as home or when used with sensible people around and is quite light so it adds little weight to the total package
If however you need a case that can be stood on by a musician on stage without damage to the case or equipment I would recommend going for a heavier and more robust case

I was quite surprised at first to discover that the material used for this piece was like a reinforced corrugated plastic. I had expected it to be play, but the material is strong and light weight which meant that it didn't ad too much extra weight to the preamp that i put in it. Also very reasonably priced.
