Like the Thon Case for Maui 28 G3 Top Speaker, the Thon Case for Maui 28 G3 Subwoofer Speaker provides great protection for your Subwoofer. 1 star has been marked off for 'Handling' because, having previously 'upgraded' from the LD Systems Maui 28 G3 Sub Bag (Item no. 564254) these Thon Sub Cases are MUCH heavier to carry! Lifting the Subwoofer in the LD Sub Bag from the top hole was a mild strain on the shoulder but lifting it via the 2 side holes was fine. In contrast, due to the added weight and bulkiness of the Thon Case, the Subwoofer is a far greater strain on the back when lifting!
