My violin has a fairly dark tone and isn't very loud. These Thomastik Vision Titanium Solo VIT100 work fantastically for me and are MUCH louder than Dominants (or any other strings that I've used). They can sound a bit scratchy at first, but settle down after a couple of hours. Pitch stability is excellent.

Ich habe lange gezögert, diese Saiten aufzuziehen, weil ich befürchtete, sie könnten für mein Instrument doch zu hell sein. Als ich kürzlich eine neue Geige erwarb, die im Klang heller, aber auch weicher ist als mein antikes Instrument, beschloss ich die Saiten dort auszuprobieren.

Die Saiten sind jetzt seit über vier Wochen im täglichen Gebrauch und ich bin bis jetzt rundum begeistert. Sie waren sehr schnell stimmstabil und sie hatten vor allem von Anfang an einen schönen, ausgeglichen runden Klang. Eine metallische Note, wie man sie von frischen Dominant Saiten aus dem gleichen Hause kennt, fehlte völlig. Besonders die G-Saite gefällt mir sehr gut, sie lässt sich bis in hohe Lagen hinein gut spielen, ohne dass der Ton heiser wird.
