The best flatwounds I've tried
I used d'Aaddario Chromes for years, but recently switched to TI JS113's. I prefer the feel and the slightly lower tension. I've used them on full-body jazz guitars and semi's. They will only suit people who like heavy flatwounds (my brother calls them 'unplayable railway lines') but if you're into that sound, I've not found better (although I've not tried GHS). Note I also use a heavy pick (2mm). I'm not sure they'd sound too good with a light or even a medium attack. They're a tad more expensive than d'Addario's, but well worth it imho. I've had one set on a semi for 10 months, and they're still pretty bright, with no intonation or tuning problems, so I'd give them high marks for longevity and cost-effectiveness. If you're a heavy string-bender or hammer & pull stylist, they're going to be tough to play cleanly. But if you're into a rich mellow kind of sound, without the 'twang & buzz' of round-wounds, you're probably on flats already. These things are very personal, so don't take my word for it (or anyone else's). I'd say give them a try & see what you think.

Excellent value for the price and great tone
These were replacing my D addario chromes, I wanted flatwounds with more treble character and clearer overtones, particularly for Jazz and Blues, but also some more versatile Rock/Metal setup.
These do Jazz and Blues really well if you want the flatwound tone.
Other genres can be managed depending on your setup.
The only improvement I may think of , is that the tension balance across strings is not balanced. But this depends on your tuning and your guitar setup, so this will vary person to person.

The best jazz strings!
I avoided playing gauge 13 strings for a long time since the ones I've tried were really difficult to control and took lot of muscle strength to get the right nice sound I was looking for (and off course the playing speed suffered ...).
JS113 feel like 11s - very easy to play! They feel smooth and the sound is just right - I can play effortlessly jazz and a very demanding fast and ornamented Bulgarian folk melodies with these strings!
Highly recommended!

Perfect sound
Contrary to how heavy wound strings play on an acoustic, they're actually quite light! They also sound amazing.

Use them on your Strat
I use these strings on my Strat and it sounds awesome. That jazzy sound comes almost natural without the hollow body, especially in low tones. The lows are definitely dominant compared to the highs and you might tweak your pickup or eq to get what you want.

Amazing for all kinds
The best strings I've ever used. I play mostly jazz, but this strings are perfect for nearly everything... they deliver a great sound without compromising tone and the playability gets better. You don't hear the dirt caused by the other type of strings.. It's always clean!

Cool strings!
I bought these strings a while back, and they're still rocking. I didn't think they'd be this good since it's a brand I never tried before. 10/10 would recommand someone to buy these as well!
