I bought one of these ages ago and wrote a report for it ... then a car flattened our first one coming back from a gig - so we needed a replacement ...
When you need a tambourine in the band you need to know 3 things ...

Is it expensive? - You can, for some reason, spend a LOT of money on a tambourine - the HT200 ticked this box ... budget price (But to me Thomann budget gear has never been nasty) more than happy with it's cost.

Can you hear it when you play it? HT200 - Yes it rattles and it sounds loud and present ... mind it sometimes doesn't keep time!!!

Does it fall apart after a few hits? The HT200 ... No it's still working as intended, its been hit, dropped stood on and even used to deflect an object! (It comes second best when driven over by a car)

Nice to hold and play. I would recommend it for gigging on a shoe string.

Overall a great tambourine
Anonymous 13.12.2016
I?ve used tambourine for my accoustic band, playing percussions.

This is a good quality product and is very comfortable in hand. Materials are not the "highest end" materials, but it compensates with awesome built quality.

You will get rather higher frequencies and overall sound is also quite sharp and high. Some tambourines have a little bit more warmth and sound on lower frequences, but it comes to what you are looking for. Dynamics is superb and you can do alot with this tambourine.

Amazing price per value and it will satisfy even quite demanding musicians needs.

Purchased to teach timing to dim wits. Good quality for what its intended for. Too brash for recording but perfect to teach timing and rhythm. Good stuff.

Long lasting

This is a loud tambourine. Bought in 2008 and used both on a kit and by hand and it is still perfect. Nearly looks new. Great for percussion for busking as it is so loud or an acoustic act in a small venue may not even need a mic for it.

Decent budget tambourine.

I have used this for light use in my home studio. It is well constructed and does not feel cheap or plasticky. It records fairly well and has a pleasing sound when played.

Although it has not been used much yet, it is lightweight and easy to use. It also looks good and appears well made. Good value for money.
