Functional and straight forward
Some option to lock with key could be nice. It does feel very sturdy but that is why its so lightweight. So far satisfied with product as expected.

Good functional case
I bought this case to house a Millennium PB48, Behringer FCA1616 and various cables and microphones as a portable recording unit. Everything fits in well, the racking itself is solid with a nice depth behind for storage. Whilst I would worry about the plastic surfing being thrown about in a flight scenario, the case does fare perfectly well being carried to and from the car in the capacity that I use it. If I were to but a bigger unit I would go for something sturdier, but this size and smaller for general use I believe the build quality to be fine. It is good that you can access the front and rear from two different panels. Whilst most people know this is standard, a first time buyer may not.

Simple cheap but very effective
Great build quality and on a budget these cases are excellent. Robust enough to handle some bumps in the back of the van but light enough to be practical.
The screw fixtures were sound, no mis-alignment issues. Clasps are solid and no sticking.
Plenty of depth to the case too which allowed us to store some of the power cables in the back, simplifying the whole set-up considerably.
Recommended for touring acts with outboard requirements. Really ideal for low-mid level set-ups who maybe don't have a team of roadies lugging stuff about for them but equally want to keep their quality gear safe from harm.

Light and robust rack case
Great rack case for the money. easily as good as the more expensive gator or skb options.
It doesn't have any locks, which isn't an issue for me as those locks on other cases are hardly the most secure of units anyway.
I use it to house a 1u rack power amp and axe fx2. Ideal 3 u gigging rig that's already set up and ready to go.
So far it's proved robust enough to protect the gear in houses without adding any discernible weight.
i do wish Thomann would do a shock rack version of these at a reasonable cost though.

Perfect for the price
I was looking for a simple flight case to transport a couple of racks. Flight cases used to be bloody expensive. This is actually a nice box, for a very reasonable price.
Probably it won't hold major hits or falls, but it's perfect for normal things like stacking racks in the trunk of your car.

Good quality, good price
I purchased this case to hold a power amp as I wanted a bit of protection for it, but the quality of the amp did not warrant the spend on a wooden full flight case. The Thomann case provides good protection, and is light weight which always helps. The unit has threaded rack strip on the front and back, meaning you can have your equipment in the front, and fit a patch or vent panel to the rear.
The case is of course, a budget model and only has light duty, small butterfly catches, but they keep the list firmly closed.
A good quality budget case at a price that does not break the bank!
