Il Thomann Mini Cajon è pensato per i bambini, ed infatti è alto solo trenta centimetri a fronte di una dimensione standard per gli adulti di 48 Cm.

L'ho comprato un po' a scatola chiusa, perchè non c'erano recensioni, ma avendo necessità di insegnare le basi della ritmica a dei bambini, dato anche il prezzo assolutamente accessibile, mi sono fidato di Thoman e ne ho preso uno.

Che dire? Prima di tutto, sicuramente attira i bambini, anche per merito dei colori sgargianti (io ho preso quello rosso, ma c'è anche giallo) ed è adatto come dimensioni. Non presenta spigoli vivi, quindi è anche sicuro.

Dal punto di vista musicale, la distinzione tra la parte acuta di “rullante” e quella bassa di “cassa” è presente, anche se ovviamente - date le dimensioni - i bassi non sono troppo profondi. Quello che non mi è piaciuto troppo, invece, è la sensibilità della “tapa” (cioè la superfice su cui si suona); nell'esemplare che mi è arrivato ci vuole fin troppa forza per tirar fuori un bel suono squillante. Per tale motivo lascio solo quattro stelle.

Un pregio di questo piccolo cajon è che pur essendo basso è comunque largo circa 30 x 30 Cm, quindi all'occorrenza anche un adulto ci si può sedere sopra senza ribaltarsi e utilizzarlo come Cajon di fortuna.
