The Thomann KB-47 piano bench is an affordable mid-range model with a classic design and straight, tapering legs, in addition to which it is also height-adjustable, a feature not always found at this price point. Unlike the extra-high KB-57, this model's seat height falls within the usual range, and compared to a swivel stool, the bench provides a larger surface and ensures a consistent playing position. The breathable fabric seat cover, also available on the two-seater KB-247, makes long sessions comfortable, while the slightly larger velour seat and more elaborate lifting mechanism provide greater support and adjustability than the budget KB-15 model. The matt black finish of the KB-47BM suits pianos or silver-coloured keyboards, resisting dirt, blending seamlessly with the interior, avoiding unwanted reflections under stage lights, and complementing any outfit.

Sturdy and well-built
With the Thomann KB-47, players sit on real solid wood, and the rectangular seat, measuring 520 x 300mm, can be adjusted steplessly in height between 47.5 and 56cm. The high-quality black velour seat cushion is set into a sturdy wooden frame, while the dual cross precision lifting mechanism, positioned far out on the base, provides excellent stability and is securely screwed to the frame and seat at multiple points, supported by metal plates. Assembly is simple: After unpacking, the legs are attached using the included tools, and the bench weighs in at 8.75kg.
