Excellent gigbag for the price
I have only been playing the mandolin for a short time and so I can only compare this case with my other cases which are for bass guitars. However, it compares well, and considering the price, is a good purchase.
The case is light and but well padded. However careful you are, things take knocks, getting in and out of cars and going through doors, but don't have concerns about my instrument in this case.
It does what you want it to do. My mandolin fits in snugly and feels like it is held firmly. The pocket is smallish but holds the essentials. The carrying handle balances the case well and the shoulder straps, although thin are comfortable enough as mandolins are so light. A purchase that I am pretty pleased with.

Gigbag to help YOU care for your mandolin
Some gigbags can be as good as hard cases.
This on is not - BUT it is inexpensive and is perfect for protecting the finish of your instrument, keeping dust off the instrument when not in use and for YOU carrying and caring for your instrument.
I purchased this with a HBMA-50 and would 100% recommend this pairing every time.

Does the job_Keeps it safe
I bought this to protect my Harley Benton HBMA-50E Mandolin at home, and it does the job. I have rated it 3 for quality as i have only had it a short while, so can't really comment about how hard wearing it will be.
Like i say the bag is mainly to protect the instrument at home. I plan on doing only occasional open mic nights with it. If i were doing lots of gigs i would get something a lot stronger. Small compartment at the front can hold a tuner, folded papers, plectrums and a capo.....
For the price i hope it will turn out to be good value, and lasts me as long as the 3 year guarantee......

Really big
Bought this for my concert banjo-ukelele and was surprised by the bag's size (really big, though not to the point of being a problem). Good quality, also.

Good for the price
This is a very good gigbag for the price. While I wouldn't use it for an expensive instrument or something that was going to take a lot of abuse, it works great for day to day storage and carrying to and from practice. It fits my Eastwood electric mandolin well and the extra pocket is handy for carrying a tuner, picks, and other extras.
Pros: Very reasonably priced; good build quality
Cons: Not heavily padded & doesn't have an internal structure which means it's not going to protect the instrument for a significant hit.

Great budget bag
This gigbag was destined not have a difficult life (no public transport or heavy gigging) and has done a great job. I do a handful of gigs on the mando and my instrument goes everywhere in this. It's well made with reasonable padding. Like most Thomann own brand stuff, its at the budget end of the market. If you're looking for something to carry your mando to the occasional gig or a jam at a friends house, this is perfect. If you're off on a world tour, think again! The straps are nice and comfy and the front pocket is perfect for your tuner, strings, pics etc.

Great gigbag for the money
Ordered for a banjoline with flat back, does the job perfectly. I like the rubber band at the bottom part of the bag which further protects the instruments from potential shocks. A suggestion for improvement would be to have a velcro strap inside to hold the neck of the instruments which would prevent it from floating inside the bag.
