Das Instrument springt richtig gut und leicht an. Der Sound ist satt, aber nicht dumpf. Einschränkungen gibt es beim vierten Ventil, das den Sound manchmal etwas stumpf macht. Hieran muss sich der Ansatz gewöhnen, dann geht's auch. Das mitgelieferte Mundstück ist vermutlich ein 25er, die Tuba verträgt aber sehr gut ein etwas größeres, beispielsweise ein 24AW. Mir persönlich ist das Instrument mit gut 9 kg allerdings etwas zu schwer.
