- Hand tube, middle tube and cup tube made of finely selected spruce wood
- Cup ring and hand knob in walnut solid wood
- Consistent 8.5 mm wall thickness
- Wide bore and therefore full, extremely warm and sonorous tone
- Oiled inside
- Wound with peddig reed and then varnished five times with a glossy varnish
- Tuned to 442 Hz orchestra tuning (thus best adaptation to other alphorns or other instruments in ensemble playing)
- 2 cm "pull out" for tuning to 440 Hz
- Very intonation-secure and coherent - "the notes jump in as if by themselves
- Extremely easy response
- Plug connections made of aluminium - gold anodised
- Incl. mouthpiece (Ø 19 mm) and 3 seals per socket
- Made in Austria
