Looks great. Well made and robust. Still looks good after many gigs. Acceptable sound for the price.

10 years old and still going strong!
I bought my t.bone GM 55 in April 2008 and have gigged with it hundreds of times since then. It's still going strong! I bought it because I wanted a vintage style mic, but couldn't afford a Shure S55. It's well built, looks the part and sounds good.
It may be a third of the Shure's price, but it certainly isn't a third of the microphone. In a direct comparison you'd hear the difference, but in a noisy gig environment you'd be hard pressed to really notice.

Great piece of nostalgia and not a bad mic to boot.
I didn't expect great things from this mic and bought it as a cheap alternative to an AKG condenser which I normally use for home recording. That said, I was pleasantly surprised by the t.bone. The aesthetics are retro and it looks as good as depicted in the photos. The build quality is surprisingly good, with a heavy, solid feel to it and no signs of corner-cutting in its fabrication. The sound quality was better than I expected and it holds its own against other dynamic mics with similar ranges although I do use it through a tube mic preamp which does make a difference. That said, I've also had it directly plugged to a mic channel on an acoustic guitar amp and it did the job one-man gigs (although a little "poppy"). This mic is only really advisable for use with straight mic stands rather than with boom stands which mean having to twist the head. For anyone looking for a retro looking, cheap and cheerful mic with no professional recording intentions, you could do a lot worse than this.

Good sound, prone to feedback
Good sound quality.
Very sensitive so expect more feedback than with directional mics.
Prone to falling because of weight and shape - and broke with first fall needing repair, so don't expect a battle ready mic.

Quite good
This vintage looking and rather inexpensive mic was a nice surprise. The bass is not super deep but OK, mids are nice, highs have to be tamed a bit for my taste but with just a little tweaking this works fine for both live and studio applications.

Like an Elvis
I bought this mic and was amazed at the quality in relation to price.
it sounds really good, and compared the sound with shure he is not far behind.
I was very satizfeito and recommend it!

Good mic. Lot of handling noise.
This mic looks gorgeous and is well built. Sound quality is up there with big name brands. Only downside is the handling noise because it screws directly to the mic stand. Any bump or touch to the mic stand clearly transmits the noise through the mic. This is especially problematic if you mic stand is mounted to your pedalboard as every pedal step results in a thump through the mic.

A good Mike
I use this mike as part of my band, on stage and at practice. You have to get in really close but it creates a great sound. Only con is that you sometimes get a bit of a wet face from condensation if the room is a bit cold.
Would definitely recommend. It's great for the price, it looks fantastic and fits on a normal microphone stand.

Rock 'n' Roll!
I bought this one just before a gig with my band, actually we had a release gig for our first album, and it really looks cool on stage! The ultimate Rock 'n' Roll microphone! It has a great price, against its competitors, but I was a little dissapointed with how it sounded. It is ok, but for my taste too dark and dull sounding. I wish it had a more clear and bright sound to it.
