the t.bone EM 800 Stereo Set

Tried these at home briefly - they worked ok but very prone to feedback type issues. In a live environment I had problems everytime any player moved - even slightly. Hums, feedback, rumbling, eventually completed a few sets with one of these switched off. First opportunity I had I replaced these with a pair of AT811's and those worked flawlessly.
Used for recording they were ok (for the low price). The recorded sound quality is a bit thin but ok if you do not compare directly with other SDCs. Once I compared the EM 800 to other SDCs I contacted Thomann regarding a return.
I give Thomann five stars for their helpful, friendly, and efficient return policy. If cost me nothing to send these back ! That was more than fair by Thomann - thank you again.
