A bit disappointed by this mic. Might work in very "quiet" rooms, but won't work close to electronics as it will pick up EMI dramatically.

I used this on high hats for a while but I was finding that I had to roll so much treble off that I went back to a dynamic mic. Not recommended very brittle sounding.
