Good for price point
These foam panels work very well in my small studio space, and were very affordable....I recommend them for those starting out, and with a lower budget.

Good Acoustic Foam
Nice beginner acoustic foam for those reflections. If you are serious with your music you need to buy proper insulation materials from your local home improvement store!

It's ok for room treatment
It's a foam absorber for acoustic room treatment, it's ok to cut some reverb from the room but it's not sound proofing or absorb low frequency

Good to have
Ive had experience with other similar foam absorbers and this one provided the most optimal absorption for the higher vocal frequencies in a room where vocals are recorded. Looks good and proves to be effective!

value for money
This is a very nice product given the value for money.
I would highly recommend combining some bass foams with the above.
You can skip the glue, and use some pins instead.
For permanent solutions, definitely use the glue.
For a low budget studio room, that's the best thing you can get. It could easily have 5 starts if the list didn't include such hight quality and expensive products.
Your neighbours are gonna love them ;)
And for guitar feedback lovers, now you can volume up your amp to a functional feedback level!

The price is right
The t.akustik HiLo-N40 is a fine product to absorb hi frequencies in your studio. It's easy to cut in smaller pieces if needed and it does a proper job compared to the price.

Good absorbing properties
I used this products to cut down on reflections to a wall right behind me in my home studio
It showcased great high end absorption
Adequate mid end
And a fair bit of low end
Also used it to soundproof a door and worked ok
For actuall soundproofing just go with the thicker N80 version
But its functional nevertheless

Good for studio dampening applications
Ordered for a home rehearsal / studio. Good value product and helpful to dampen echoes / reflections but if you're looking for sound "proofing", this isn't going to be very helpful as even if you cover the room from floor to ceiling it doesn't perceptibly reduce the volume from outside of the room - for that you'd need lots of mass and a very thick, well fitting door.
