The sound is great and it wraps up nicely.
Gotta say that this is a very well-built XLR for the price and would definatly make sure everyone whose looking for a great quality XLR goes and buys this.

Favorite audio cable!
I think it's the best audio cable. Quality is excelent for this price, and it bright color help to find it when my band pick our setup.

Very handy
I have bought a few of these in different colours. They are light to carry and are perfectly reliable. Its great that they come in different colours, makes sound adjustments at the mixing desk easier by giving each mic or line out, a different colour cable. Im very impressed and they are great value for money.

Yellow is easy to see
the sssnake SM10YE is a great lead.
It sounds really well and ive never had any issues with them.
Being yellow its really handy to find in dark places either it be a gig bag or a dark corner backstage.
I use them as my speaker cables. easy to trace wires when the whole PA is colour coordinated

Great Coloured XLR cable
I bought some of these to use as microphone cables and being coloured allow easy recognition of which channel is which on the mixer. These cables are extremely cheap at just 6.40 EUR. For that price I couldn't even buy the plugs let alone the cable! The plugs certainly aren't Neutrik's but they are good enough quality to use with microphones and I intend to use these for karaoke with some cheap T Bone MB 60's The female connector locks positively with the microphone and the cable certainly doesn't look and feel like a cheap and cheerful entry level cable. The cable itself is quite flexible and should give years of service before it fractures.
So how does the sssnake sound? Well I cannot distinguish any difference in sound quality between it and a Cordial CAM 9 which costs more than double the price. I cannot detect any restriction in the upper frequency response. There is no microphony produced when handling the cable and I cannot detect any hum or noise even when the cable is placed directly next to mains cabling.
Would I recommend these cables, if you need a colured cable then definitely yes! At this price I would suggest stocking up before Thomann realise what a bargain these are and put the price up!

The sm10ye are a great piece of kit, we in the band 'JACK DANIELZ' use both these and the 6m version, we give them a hard time as we gig every where! For the price you pay for this item, its well worth it.
