The Yellow Midi Road
The sssnake SK366-3-YEL Midi cable, the sunny side up of MIDI connections! Allow me to serenade you with the tale of this radiant lifeline to my musical endeavors.
Firstly, let's talk about its appearance. This cable is as yellow as a field of daffodils on a spring morning. It's like a burst of sunshine in a world of black and gray cables. I mean, who needs caffeine when you've got a cable that practically screams, "Wake up and make some music!"?
Now, onto functionality. This cable is smoother than a jazz saxophonist in a smoky nightclub. It connects effortlessly, transmitting MIDI data with the finesse of a seasoned maestro. Whether I'm syncing my keyboards, drum machines, or sequencers, this cable never misses a beat. It's like the reliable friend who always shows up on time, ready to lend a hand (or a connection, in this case).
But here's the real kicker: durability. I've put this cable through more twists and turns than a rollercoaster ride at Disneyland, and it hasn't even broken a sweat. It's like the Olympic gymnast of cables—flexible, resilient, and always ready for another routine.
And let's not forget affordability. I've spent more on avocado toast than I did on this cable, yet it delivers performance that punches way above its weight class. It's like getting a Ferrari for the price of a bicycle—a steal of a deal if you ask me.
So, if you're in the market for a MIDI cable that's as vibrant as it is reliable, look no further than the sssnake SK366-3-YEL. It's the yellow brick road to musical bliss, and it'll have you skipping down the path to sonic enlightenment.

Nice MIDI cable!
Good quality cable, not expensive. I chose this color because it looks cool, but you have other color options from this manufacturer.

A studio with many hardware synths needs coloured midi cables.
All I can say is that coloured midi cables are the solution if you're dealing with many hardware synths in your studio. I use white midi cables to connect my synths to the midi output of my Synthstrom Deluge sequencer (a very versatile sampler/sequencer in one dedicated device) via a Kenton THRU-12. I use the other available colours of the sssnake midi cables for sending the midi outputs of my hardware synths via a Kenton MERGE-8/4 combo to the midi in of the hardware Deluge sequencer. Each synth has its own midi cable colour. Same colours for synths when one is to the left and the other is to the right of the Kenton MERGE-8/4 combo.
One drawback is that the merger mixes midi clocks. I have two Korg Prologues that keep sending midi clock messages. I solved that problem by using an Arduino Uno with a Midi Shield running a Midi Clock messages suppressor coded with the help of ChatGPT. Very simple code.

A beautiful yellow midi cable.
Generic, affordable, good looking, and the most important; it does the job! It comes in a variety of colors and lengths. It feels strong and durable.
For consumers outside Europe, I encourage you to ask Thomman team to dispatch your products with UPS, it is possible for the same price as long as it doesn't exceed 5 kilos, UPS is much better, faster, safer than DHL, I have plenty of complaints to say about DHL.

Does what it says on the tin
I have 3 of these that I use, the quality for the price is more than good value for money with large chunky easy to use connectors and a good length this exactly what I needed to patch up between DJs
