In the time it came I had no time for sending it back.. it came already damaged (broken plastic cable drum, still got original unboxing photo somewhere) and the first input did not worked at all, but I needed it so badly for small one week festival, I decided not to claim and re-soldered it myself (easy fix).


It is quite bulky for only 8 channels and it looks awful on stage beside drum-kit. If you are looking for something neat to have nice de-clustered stage, look for something else, if you are lazy just like me and you like winding cables on drum, then go ahead and buy this, it will save you some time during setup, artist changes and teardown.

Good but not without issues

On the face of it, great value, well made and very practical. However, after a month of owning and very light use, one of the XLR sockets on the drum broke. The latches used to lock the XLR plugs into the sockets are a little flimsy, so when one of these broke, my XLR cable was stuck in the socket. I ended up taking it apart (fortunately it's easy to do) and with a bit of poking and pulling I got the plug out, and removed the broken latch. I just hope it doesn't happen on any other channels! Otherwise, a very good product.

Considering most guys will buy this for use on the road, we found that the XLR's started to break after the first month, and also on the actual stage box side of it the clips to release the XLR's began to fail too.

If the build quality was slightly higher it would be ideal, the best thing was the actual drum !

Used this one 2-3 times and a channel was broken. But the other 7 i have used several times, and no problems with that.

Bought 2 snake drums. 48V phantom power (D.I., condenser mic) is not passing trough it. Female connectors are poor quality.The rest is just fine ...
