Thanks for a great cable
I've only recently started using LED lights that can be controlled via DMX. It's been a steep learning curve, but well worth the effort. We have 3 of these DMX cables, and they're well worth the money we spent. They are a well constructed quality product. I just wish they were more easily distinguished from XLR cables, but I've used coloured tape to mark them. Also, don't forget to buy an DMX terminator (or two, as they're small and easy to lose).

My lead
These 'sssnake DMX-Cable 1000/3' leads are particularly well made. I tried making my own once, but I'm a bit rubbish at soldering. I'm sure I'd get the hang of it if I practiced enough. It's like anything though isn't it? If you practice anything 'enough', you are very likely to become rather good at it (adept if you will) unless you happen to be a cack-handed wazzock. I know a few people like that, my mate Tom is a bit cack-handed but don't tell him I think so, I'd feel quite cruel.
Anyway, I seem to have drifted somewhat from the origianl subject matter. I think it's suffice to say, these leads are very good and not too expensive either which is even more of 'good' when you add it to all the other bits of good I've already mentioned.

"Does what it says on the tin."
Nothing much to say about these, as they do the job they are meant to do. When wrapped correctly and taken care of these can last a long long time, in both live and studio contexts.

Got some of these cables to use in a theatre space and wow for the price that they are its for sure worth a buy.
The quality of the cable and the connecter is great too!

dmx lighting
If i use my backdrop and have the lights above it i can link all four together and run a lead to my footswitch and have them all doing the same just by using the footswitch if i want blackout i got it if i want the to stay on and not flash or chase i got it

great cables
After looking to increase my stock of dmx cable i was planning to buy the components to make them up myself but after finding these i realised that its actually cheaper to buy them from Thomann already made up. They are excellent value for money and are of excellent quality with good quality components and cable. i have been using them for about 2 years now and they work perfectly every time with not glitching in the lighting fixtures which can happen very easily with lower quality cables. I would definitely buy these again and would chose these over much higher priced cables that i have bought in the past.
