Good sound; much better than a 'keyboard' amp
I needed a powered speaker for a stage piano. The low-end keyboard amps I've used in the past have always sounded very 'boxy' to me but I am really impressed with the MA100. There are good high ends and the bass is perfectly adequate, without the mid-range boominess that you often get from small speakers.
The XLR out is post-fade, which means that if you use that to feed the mixing desk then the keyboard player can't adjust the monitor volume without also changing the front of house mix, which is a slight annoyance.
I just wish that Thomann had used combo XLR/jack sockets for the inputs. Not all stage pianos have a balanced XLR line out, and it's a minor inconvenience to have to carry around a special jack to XLR lead.

No handle? Who cares?
The singer in our band wasn't loud enough. She is now!
Some reviews complain about the box having no handle. So what? Our singer is a petite 1.5 metres and she has no trouble moving a 14kg box.
The MA100 is excellent value. It is very solid, looks good and gives an excellent amplification with no distortion.
All the necessary connections are here for microphone or instruments.
The only thing I would like to have seen is the power socket below the front face, so that it doesn't have to twist so much when the power supply is behind the box.

Don't be fooled by the price
As the title of this review says, just because this is a very good price don't think for a moment that it's going to be cheaply put together. This is worthy of a place on any stage. It's a heavily built cabinet with a good sounding speaker set and the basic EQ system works very well. No rattles or vibrations even with the volume up relatively high.
At the price Thomann are charging for these units there can be absolutely no criticism. In fact in most places I looked you would have to pay twice as much for something this good. A cover would be useful but then 'the moon on a stick' would cost much more.

Brilliant monitor
I've not used it on stage yet, but the build quality and sound from this monitor seems really good, I can crank it up to uncomfortably loud volumes without any noticeable distortion.

What a Great product!
I bought two of these and put them to the test for two full days including an evening concert, and these speakers are truly Awesome, these speakers are seriously impressive. Very clear and crisp sound, even at high volume, and without distortion, no crackles, hums, whistles or anything else, just pure sound and at a great level.
For those of you here that complain about the missing handle, you do have a point, but.... just use an old leather belt to put around the speaker, problem solved!!

Foldbacks or small PA
I bought two of these as active fold-backs for gigs and like the sound so much I occasionally use them as PA for small gigs and even use one as my amp for a guitar using a multi-effects pedal to simulate combi amps etc.......
Lovely clean sound for acoustic guitars and nice adaptable sound with effects pedal
Great Value

I really like this Monitor
The only thing I'd say is: it needs a handle on the side.
I had to order one separately and attach it myself.
Apart from that: great quality for a Price that I like.

Very impressed
I am very impressed with the sound quality of the amp considering its relatively low cost. My one drawback is the lack of features, but if you are just looking to amplify your voice then this is perfect.

Superb Sound Quality
A very well made fold-back speaker for stage use or as a stand alone microphone amplifier. The sound quality and finish are excellent. It has plenty of power to handle all types of sounds and music including a well laid out control panel on the front. The speaker can also be used on a speaker stand if needed. All in all a very good product which I would definitely recommend.
