About Technics

Technics was created as a brand for premium hifi equipment by the Japanese Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd. in 1965. The brand wrote its name in the history books with the launch of its flagship SL-1210 MK2 record player in 1978, which soon played a pivotal role in shaping DJ culture and became the most iconic DJ turntable of all time. Scratching and beatmixing would probably never have been invented without the innovative features of the "wheels of steel". 270° swivelling earpads

Many DJs prefer to monitor their tracks with only one ear. DJ headphones with fixed (or slightly adjustable) earpads often sit too loosely or uncomfortably, making it impossible for DJs to perform optimally. Nothing is more annoying than when headphones constantly slip or even fall off when mixing. The Technics EAH-DJ 1200 can be optimally adjusted, as the pads can be rotated through 270° and locked in the desired position. Of course, the length of the headband can also be adjusted to eight positions and locked in place, so DJs can adapt the headphones perfectly to their head shape and personal preferences.
