A multieffect of two halves
There are one or two small conceptual leaps that are necessary to get over but once you do, this pedal makes a lot of sense. Basically it is 3 pedals in a box. 3 of any pedal from the TC lineup. Any 3, so it can be 3 noise-gates, if that's what you want. Each pedal is like a single 'mode' from one of the stand-alone pedals, so you could have a Flashback tape delay and a Flashback reverse-delay on the same board, which can be activated independently as if they are standalone pedals. Once you get your head around this concept, you can master most of the thing without ever looking at a USB port.
When you do get round to the USB (or Bluetooth) connectivity, your world of possibility will expand exponentially. Here is where you can tweak pedal configurations, download printouts, modify toneprints, change knob assignments, create midi mappings... so much possibility.
Even is you just use it as a box of pedals and never connect to a computer it is amazing value, but if you go the whole way into the Toneprint world... it becomes an amazingly flexible and unique tone shaper.

Very useful for my synths
I bought this for my bass because for some reason I thought it was a good idea. And don't get me wrong, you can find some useful ways to pair them. But it was just not for me.
But when I used it with some synths I had it was really good. Effects like the looper, reverb, delay, etc are very useful for them and having them all together in the same box is very practical. I have no complaints of it so far.

Amazing multi fx for synths
Iβve got the X3 so i could get a better quality sound instead of Zoom MS-70, and boy, i did get it. Quality of algos is much better, plus you get some other options like toneprint editor and midi clock. Yes, there isnβt so many algos like in Zoom, but those you have sound much better and there is no tone degradation. You can go wild with combo of algos like reverb-delay-pitch shifter and make your wild reverbs or delays. I would love to have a little bit more of control on the pedal itself, and couple of more algos, but for this price, itβs really a killer pedal. Love it!

Great Compromise & Wildly Efficient
If you want analog board feel, but more options this pedal is the way to go! So many options, and incredibly intuitive. Also note that it has both a tuner and cab sim. Really, all you need (aside from any specific modulation TC doesn't do) is dirt.

A little too complicated to use but sounds good
As the title says: some effects are difficult to dial once you start playing with tone prints. I find Helix for example much simpler despite having more options.
Another cons: no true bypass possible.
If you can accept these shortcomings it's a great little effects unit

Nice
I use it on my bass pedal board. It's okay, does the job. The price is reasonable.
To my ears most of the effects aren't in class leading level. There are better sounding reverb, modulation and delay units out there. But again, it's really okay, versatile, not too expensive and ultimately does the job.

Super compact super versatile effects processor
being a TC Electronic fan since the mid 70's, I always had one or more TC products in use, starting with the original chorus pedal in the 70's, going over to two 2290's in the eigthies, and later used the G-system and three Nova Systems in my live rigs. Now i'm using a Plethora X3 a my main effects processor for live use, TC quality effects, very small footprint on your board, easy to program and lots of features, including the toneprint and MASH feature...I like it a lot...
