Sounds Amazing, Easy to use (read for extra info)
It works perfectly and the build quality is very good.
It leaves the signal untouched and just adds the reverb (nice!)
Usage
Pros
- Easy to use (basically 4 knobs)
- You can get a great sound easy and fast
- It's hard to make the reverb sound bad (very positive)
Cons
- Non
Sound
Pros
- The algorithms of the reverbs sound very good! (It sounds good)
Cons
- The spring doesn't do the drippy sound, but I don't miss it that much
Features
- Decay switch: short or long (use long to hear the reverb more clearly)
- Tone Print is easy to use on your phone (needs cable for pc)
- Can be used for Mono, Mono to Stereo and Stereo
Conclusion
If you need a reverb pedal, this one just sounds good and is easy to use
Hard to go wrong with this one except if you want a drippy spring sound
My Setup + Settings
Used in Mono (input cable + output cable)
- Vox MV50 Clean (Amp)
- Palmer CAB 112 REX (Speaker)
- The Room to get a full Jazz tone (Epiphone ES 175 Premium)
- Toneprint preset for a Warm Blues lead (Epiphone Dot - ES 335)
- Spring or Hall for Pop and Rock music (Squier Standard Stratocaster)

i
it works well
although i didn't like the main presets, using the 3 downloadable slots i found things that covered me very well. in that sense i don't feel there's huge technical compromise for the footprint and the controls on it go a long way.

It could be perfect..
Okay, so there is no doubt that hof is the best reverb pedal out there :p In comparison with all the ElectroHarmonix stuff and Boss.. its just higher rank soundwise and buildwise! My only complaint about this one is the high pressure you need to press the new mash button in order to work with it as an expression pedal. Except this it's perfect!
ps: The toneprints and the software in this thing are HUGE. Even the algorithm that understands when you press for expression or when you want to close the pedal it is really really clever!! (And I am a programmer myself..)

Practical, Useful and Small
I bought it quite some time ago. One can noodle with the TonePrint Editor for hours, every time finding something interesting sound wise. It should go stereo, although mono sounds also o'k. It is good that it has 3 slots for the TonePrints. I will continue using it.

Lots of sounds
But takes a while to dial in. And there are some qualities to the sound that could be better. That said, it sounds great, but not fantastic

a lot of options, but not for everyone
This pedal has a lot on offer for a very good price. But I figured, that if your amp, like mine, has no FX loop this reverb is of little value. I have compared its functionality to FX-loop-added amps and it makes a world of difference. Finally, an FX loop makes this pedal way more fun to use - you can actually hear the difference between different types: plate vs spring vs hall, etc... It doesn't make a noise when added to a pedalboard, so overall I recommend, but with reservations ;-): get it if your amp has no reverb, but has an FX.

It's not Strymon but Tc never fails! It's a great value-price reverb.
