Lose the cables - keep the sound

The Swiff Audio WX503 Wireless System is the perfect add-on for guitarists who want to lose the cables but keep the sound. This simple, effective set consists of nothing more than a transmitter, a receiver, and a sturdy case that doubles up as a charging station. Despite this simplicity, the system transmits over the SHF 5.8GHz band for a strong, stable, and uninterrupted signal – it's even encrypted. And with latency under 5ms, the audio itself stays crystal clear. Transmitter and receiver connect to source and PA through a standard 6.3mm jack socket, and each unit is powered by its integrated rechargeable battery: Fully charged, the system runs for up to six hours. With just a single multifunction button, plus an on/off switch, this compact, straightforward wireless setup gives guitarists the freedom to move around on stage without being tied down by cables.

Between the axe and the mix

The Swiff Audio WX503 Wireless System can handle frequencies from 20Hz to 20kHz, so even the deepest bass comes through with plenty of punch. Both outwardly identical components are so compact that they're flexible enough for use with almost any instrument. The transmitter plugs into a guitar and sends its signal to the receiver, which can be hooked up to any mixing desk. The multifunction button on each device - for switching channels, for example - also functions as an LED display showing the battery level, making it easy to see when a recharge is needed. The robust USB charging case that is included in the package can fully charge the transmitter/receiver pair up to three times before itself needing to recharge, and it also has a handy power display so guitarists will never get caught without juice.

Swiff Audio WX503 Wireless System, Detail

Simple but expandable

This compact wireless system is aimed at guitarists looking for more freedom to move on stage - and a simple, intuitive solution to make it happen. With no extra controls, there's no complicated setup to worry about, and because it uses the very stable 5.8GHz frequency, between four and six units can be used on stage simultaneously. Similarly, one Swiff Audio WX503 transmitter can also be configured to send to up to four receivers, each outputting the same signal. That means a single guitarist could send their music to four different amps without even needing a mixing desk, and with the USB charging station, the show won't even need batteries.

About Swiff Audio

Swiff Audio Technology Co. Ltd. is based in Hong Kong and specialises in developing and manufacturing high-quality, intuitive wireless systems, backed by its more than 15 years of experience. Its product range includes wireless audio transmission systems, wireless amplifiers, tuners, and power supplies for effects pedals with adjustable voltage. All these products have proven their worth in countless settings – from stage and film sets to professional studios – and are aimed at musicians, performing artists, public speakers, and content creators.

Safe and secure signal

For a solid signal, a guitarist will need a clear, direct line of sight between the transmitter and receiver, with as few large obstacles as possible in the way. Both units should also be at least 1.5 metres away from larger metal objects like walls or scaffolding: Because of the built-in lithium batteries, they shouldn't be placed near heat sources either. If the system isn't going to be used for a while, users should make sure not to keep the charging case plugged in for too long. Depending on which mode a musician or sound tech runs the system on, the Swiff Audio WX503 can transmit for six hours on a full charge. And with a signal-to-noise ratio of over 90dB and a distortion level of under 0.02%, it delivers high-quality audio, which is of course the most important thing of all.

Perfect wireless

To start with many thanks to Sascha from PA department that helped me out with several choices and suggested this model.

Played it upon receiving it for a little bit testing interferences next to large smart tv, laptop, wifi sound system, router and x2 mobiles in close vicinity....and it passed the test on all stored channels of my Spark amp(Clean, Clean w/delay, Lead and Fuzz) at different volumes with Cum Laude!

This was a test but since all the above usually run under 2,4Ghz and the Swiff wireless is working under 5,8Ghz, it worked as it should, like a charm.

No need to even pair, straight out of the box functionality.....long term feedback is yet to be seen but for now I am extremely happy.

Also tried with a Marshall DSL with the same result, only missing to plug it into my pedal board but at this stage I believe it will work just fine.

Design wise, these Axe-pods*, due to the similarity with apple earbud concept, are truly genius since you could, if in a tight spot even charge your mobile with the base, it is nothing too new but I prefer it to cables. Advertised to charge the wireless x3 times with a full charge of the station so that is also a plus not to depend on a plug to charge.

Was afraid the fixed position of the jack would be a challenge but due to size of both transmitter and receiver, I hardly notice they are even plugged, they are tiny.

Looks and feels sturdy for plastic, the on off button seems also well placed and hopefully keeps the sturdiness, and the various functions of the main button are also quite useful to see remaining battery or change channels if needed.

Before being extremely happy with my purchase, I had acquired a pair of the very popular Boss WL20s that I had to return to another shop due I think to the frequency range. Tried it for a week alone and with two guitars and both amps, and each time there were interferences and slight drops due to the 2,4Ghz I think so those were returned. Also I did not like the on off button lack on the WL20s, just a tiny metal on the jack, smart way but I prefer to push on and off myself. Lastly the tedious re pairing each time they are turned off...if they would have been stable I would probably kept them but again, not for me, much much happier with the Swiff audio wireless.

Hope this time I get the voucher, been posting for almost 6 years 99% of my purchases and Nothing, Nada, Niente, Nix, Ingenting, Nanimonai....; )

Geeat stuff these Swiff Wireless.

Absolut Empfehlenswert

Nun sollte mal was Neues her:

Not good enough
Kaz2 03.10.2025
This wireless system looks very promising and the concept is great but the sound quality is not at up to expectations. Once fully charged and plugged in I had the impression that I had Ear plugs in. My guitar lost volume and above all a significant part of high frequencies. I used it with a Gibson lip and a strat.
After testing this item I have decided to return it. Very disappointing.
